Agency and Being a 'Live Player'

The world is complex, and while it's fairly easy to make a difference in your friends' lives, it's quite hard to make larger, more structural changes. A live player looks for where the leverage is on systemic issues, knowing that just figuring that out is a long research project, that their early guesses will usually turn out wrong, once they start testing them, and that the world keeps changing, so the target keeps moving. Can you be patient enough to keep looking, and humble enough to be wrong over and over?
